This was the second show I curated. Lee Taylor exhibited some severed head paintings. David Hilliard showed some giant drawings taken from the TV guide, porn and newspapers. Reuben Henry read out a list of every place in North America. Matt Lloyd showed his graffiti paintings. Jim Psheehan made a dead baby from doll parts and a chicken carcass. Jim Prior showed some huge wood carvings to modern day deities.
The show was a great success. The artworks worked together in an incongrous way, and with the constant crackling of jazz records and a few bottles of rum, the show went off like a chapter from On The Road.
