Sympathetic sounds of the WILD west midlands!! is available to buy online from www.lowenergynetwork.com (click the BRAINLOVE tab) or buy it IN PERSON from SWORDFISH RECORDS, TEMPEST RECORDS, REDDINGTON'S RARE RECORDS or URBAN VILLAGE in Birmingham. "In the West Midlands of England there lies a large, flat, dark, dusty urban basin. You can see the residents of this mysterious place from the trains at night, the dots of light, hundreds and thousands, millions of them flickering under the glowing neon night sky. From the cracked concrete under Spaghetti Junction to the tree covered top of the Wrekin, from the Mander Centre to the Rotunda to the New Art Gallery, from the Molyneux to the Villa to the desolate crumbling towers and derelict subways, the glittering glass of the new money E.U. city centres to the falling-apart dirt-cheap housing of the suburbs, the slow rumbling Metro and rickety, rattling train network, the police helicopters circling overhead like vultures... It's a lawless land, a thankless, grim wasteland where the roads at night are more Mad Max than M25, and the streets are more John Wayne than Park Lane... (oh yes) and there's no ignoring it (oh no) ... no matter how tightly you close your eyes ... we're here to stay .... ... P.S. ... Dearest London, as much as we love you ... we're better than you are"
